Activist Opportunity

Hello,

Welcome to our new email layout and format. 2010 has brought some exciting changes to the club and it is one of our goals to have a more user friendly email and web service. The new www.TowsonRepublicans.com will launch in a few days!

There are several opportunities this week for activists to get involved. I encourage all of our members to get out in the community this year. Your involvement will make an impact in the 2010 election cycles. Let's get started!!!
 
Towson Tax Day Tea Party: April 15
tax dayOn April 15th we will be co-hosting the Towson Tea Party. This will be the ONLY Tea Party in Baltimore County and is sure to attract a lot of attention. There will be FREE LUNCH* (doesn't include $7.50 in taxes) speakers, media and booths. The Tea Party starts at 12pm on Thursday and is being held at Courthouse Square, 401 Bosley Ave in Towson. There is ample parking on the street and in nearby garages. Click herefor the flyer.
 
The Club is also sponosring and organizing an aggressive signwaving campaign going on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. If you are interested in signwaving please contact John Fiastro at 443-416-3842 or jcfiastro@hotmail.com. We'll provide the signs, you provide the smile.

If you work in Towson or have some time on Thursday I hope to see you at the Tea Party.

  Kickoff Door-to-Door: April 17th
Tis that time of year, where we put on our walking shoes, sunscreen and get ready to go door knocking. We'll be heading out on the east side of the district meeting at Oakleigh Elementary at 10am.

Since it is after session ALL candidates are welcome to join, please bring your literature and volunteers we'll provide the walking lists.

If you've never gone door knocking before, I encourage you to join us on Saturday. It's a wonderful way to meet you neighbors, talk about issues and is the most effective way to support our candidates.
